Zee is a hoot and a half. This little Quarter Pony gelding was purchased at Mount Airy Livestock Auction on June 6, 2020 by a team member as a 4-month-old colt. It was said that he came from registered bloodlines but he did not receive his registration application or information and so was sold as grade. There were several other colts his same age at the sale, so it is believable that they all came from a breeding program dispersal. Zee has been handled a lot since that day and we eventually purchased him from our team member when she had to downsize. He carries our brand because we consider him a Spring Valley foal even though he was not born here. He is an outgoing colt with a ton of personality - sometimes a little TOO much personality! I often find myself describing Zee as a “little punk” because he’s into everything, curious and outgoing to a fault, extroverted and playful to the point of being very mouthy and somewhat testy on the ground. He is smart, not aggressive or mean, responsive to pressure, and will give you quality entertainment for hours on end.
