Duchess has been well-handled but is a much more cautious filly than her 2020 peers. She is thoughtful, critical, and more aloof than the others. That being said, she is not feral or untrusting: she just does not have the doofy “puppy dog” quality that some of her siblings possess. Duchess is very intelligent, pays attention to her surroundings and carefully considers your request before she obliges. She is athletic, attentive, and affectionate with people she knows. I would consider Duchess to be much “lighter” than some of her siblings, more reactive to pressure, more reactive to her surroundings.
