Spring Valley’s Atlas

”Atlas” (gelding) born January 2, 2020
Dam: unknown
Sire: unknown

Atlas and his brother, Rio, are kind of a different story. We bought them from a dire situation as very young (3mo) weanlings. They came from a papered Paint stallion but due to a nasty divorce, the papers were lost and the colts did not receive any information by which they could be registered. The dams were also apparently papered but again, no information could be given regarding their lineage so the boys are grade. Atlas and Rio were both feral and malnourished when they came to us but quickly came around and have been absorbed into our 2020 foal crop as Spring Valley babies. While they were not bred by us, we consider them our babies because we’ve had our hands on them since they were just a few months old. I would consider Atlas to be less responsive to pressure than Rio. He is calm and unreactive, almost doofy. He will respond to pressure with some effort and is a loving, quiet dude with a great brain.
